The Provide First Aid course (previously known as Senior First Aid) is a generic first aid course applicable to all industries and members of the public. Apply First Aid is a pre-requisite for most jobs and always adds value to your resume. Integrated training has an extremely high standard when it comes to Provide First Aid. It is not about simply obtaining the Certificate but about having the ability to save someone’s life.
THE PROVIDE FIRST AID COURSE CAN BE COMPLETED IN 1 FULL DAY, WHICH WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:
- Allergic Reaction
- Anaphylaxis
- Head Injuries
- Asthma
- Bleeding Control
- Choking
- Poisoning
- CPR
- Pressure immobilzation
- Fractures/Sprains
- Seizures
- Shock
Provide First Aid training course is extremely important whether you’re a Security personnel, mother, father, brother or sister. We should all know how and have the ability to save someone’s life.
ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE YOU WILL BE ISSUED WITH A STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WITH THE FOLLOWING UNITS OF COMPETENCY
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
HLTAID012 PROVIDE EMERGENCY FIRST AID RESPONSE IN AN EDUCATION AND CARE SETTING
This unit of competency has been approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) who have deemed it to satisfy all requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
This course is suitable for anyone working in long day care, family day care, preschool and outside of school hours (OOSH) care services.
On completion of the course you will be issued with a statement of the attainment with the following units of competency:
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 Provide Emergenct First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
COURSE DURATION
1 Day Face to Face Training for either course.
Online learning to be completed before practical day.
