AVI20118 CERTIFICATE II IN TRANSPORT PROTECTION
This qualification is the NEW entry requirement in order to work Security at the Domestic and International Airport.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students must be over 18 years of age (it is a licensing requirement) and not have been convicted of a disqualifying offence in the last 10 years.
An ASIC Job Ready Background Check; or
An MSIC Job Ready Background Check

The online component needs to be completed first 8 Units of competency will be delivered online through our training portal. On completion of the online training, you will then be required to attend five consecutive working days.
The course times are of 09:00-16:00 Monday – Friday
Please note there is a maximum of 3 months allowed to complete the online training component.

AVIO0011 Manage disruptive behaviour and unlawful interference within a transport security environment

AVIO0005 Conduct screening using explosive trace detection

UNITS: COURSE CODE – COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is split into two parts online learning done at home a total of 8 Units. Please note you have a maximum of 3 months to complete the online learning. On completion of the online component you then will need to attend for a 5 day face to face component of the course. The face to face component will be from Monday- Friday 09:00-16:00.
